Dr. Conchita L. Manabat

A well-rounded accounting professional, Dr. Conchita L. Manabat, is a Member of the USC Board of Trustees from June 2000 to May 2005, and a Trustee of the Institute of Women Studies. She is the Managing Partner of C.L. Manabat and Co., the Philippine affiliate of the auditing firm Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Dr. Manabat is a part-time Dean of St. Scholastica’s College, Manila School of Accountancy; President of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX); and a founding Trustee and Vice President of the Development Center for Finance. She is also a Member of the Committee on International Accounting Standards of the International Association of Finance Executives Institutes (IAFEI) for more than ten years. IAFEI is an association of financial professionals in different parts of the world focusing on financial management and establishing linkages among national institutes. Dr. Manabat is a certified public accountant and has a Ph.D. in Organization Development and Planning from the Southeast Asia Interdisciplinary Development Institute. She earned her MBA at the Ateneo de Manila University Graduate School of Business and undertook Financial Management and Decision Support System Executive Programs at Pennsylvania State University, USA as well as a Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School, Massachusetts, USA.
