Awards and Distinctions
The University of San Carlos was the recipient of SSS Balikat ng Bayan Awards for 2005 as Top Employer in the Visayas. The award was presented during the 48th year anniversary of Social Security System (SSS). The 2005 Balikat ng Bayan Awards are conferred on 13 companies nationwide for their faithful compliance to the provisions of the SS Law in terms of coverage, collection and giving out of benefits, accuracy and timeliness of their submission of reports and, participation in SSS programs.
