PHILIPPINE QUARTERLY OF CULTURE AND SOCIETY
International Standard Serial Number 0115-0243
Philippine Quarterly of Culture and Society is a journal in the humanities and the social sciences published four times a year, in March, June, September and December.

Editorial Policy
The Editors invite well-researched original articles on subjects pertaining to Philippine culture and society, but will occasionally also accept articles on similar topics pertaining to the other countries of Southeast and East Asia, especially if these are apt to shed light on developments and conditions in the Philippines. In all cases, however, the Editors reserve the right to accept, reject, or suggest revisions in submitted material. Contributors will receive one copy of the issue and 25 free offprints; additional offprints can be provided at cost if ordered before publication. Signed statements of facts and opinions appearing in the journal are made on the responsibility of the authors alone and do not imply the endorsement of the Editors.

Manuscripts should be addressed to the Editor. Two clean copies – one the original, the other a good xerox copy – are needed; the author should keep a third copy. Illustrations, preferably black-and-white drawings in India ink on heavy unruled paper or on graph paper ruled in light blue, should accompany the manuscript when called for. Photographs may be accepted when appropriate. Authors should keep in mind that small details, like close-spaced lines and minute lettering, may be lost in reproduction and should make the required allowance for this.<
