About the Unit

The Admissions Office of the University of San Carlos is strategically located at the Downtown Campus along P. del Rosario St., Cebu City.
It is the office that entertains and processes application forms of new applicants such as incoming First Year Students and Transferees to the University.  It implements the Admissions Policies of the University.

The Admissions Office primarily performs two major functions, namely: Implementing the Admissions Policies of the University and promoting the curricular offerings for the University particularly in the different provinces in Visayas and Mindanao.
Among its many activities are: 

• Doing promotional visits to the different High Schools in Visayas and Mindanao;
• Coordinating the Testing On-site  Program;
• Accepting invitations of feeder schools/high schools to their Career Program Activities;
• Exhibiting Curricular Information upon invitation by feeder schools and institution; and
• Performing Admission-related Studies
