DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Filing of important papers like scholarship form, class schedules, medical certificates, guidance certificates, semestral grades and excuse forms shall not be delegated to friends and relatives.
- Players shall be required to submit their class schedules to the office of Athletics Director immediately after enrolment. No changes shall be made without the comment of the office. A total of 18 units of academic subjects will be allowed to non-graduating students while graduating students may take 21 units.
- Those who are enrolled in the Physical Education subjects shall personally hand in their class cards to their respective instructors informing them about their Varsity player status.
- Old and new players shall be required to submit to the office of the Athletic Coordinator 4 copies of identical colored 2x2 passport pictures.
- Players shall be required to report to the school physician for yearly medical check-up. All are also required to report to the Guidance Office for monthly guidance counseling.
- Players shall always present their grades to the Athletic Coordinator at the beginning of every semester or as early as their grades are available at the EDP section.
- Uniforms are free to Varsity players. However, since uniforms are intended for the whole year’s use, those who are disqualified from the team shall pay the cost of the uniform.
- These uniforms shall be used only during actual games or on occasions that are called for and not during practices nor for attending classes and other affairs inside and outside the school campus.
- Players shall be required to attend meetings called for by the Coaches or Athletics Director. Attendance and punctuality will be checked in the same manner as for practices.
- Equipment borrowed by the players must be returned promptly to the office. Otherwise losses will be charged to the borrower’s school account.
- Players shall serve as models to other players wherever they may be. Those with undesirable or unsportsmanship attitude shall be held under disciplinary action or total disqualification from further participation in the team depending upon the gravity of the offense.
- Players who fail in/or drop one or more subjects shall be given academic assistance, however, if he still failed to pass, he will be disqualified from the team.
- Players shall pay the charges for subjects they withdraw or drop.
- Players shall refrain from participating in any organization whose activities would conflict with those for Varsity teams.
- Participation in any invitational games or practices.
- Athletes invited to play or practice outside the school premises with/for other organizations shall get the permission of his/her Coach or Athletic Coordinator.
- Coaches shall seek the permission of Athletic Coordinator.
- Players shall be required to participate in all competitions the Athletic Center or the University is committed to.
- Player shall refrain from smoking and drinking liquor whether inside or outside the campus.
SERVICES TO BE RENDERED
Special services shall be rendered by those players assigned to perform certain
tasks, specially during Intramurals.
PRACTICES
- The schedule for practices shall be followed religiously. After (3) unexcused
absences, warning shall be given to the erring player. A 4th unexcused
absences shall merit suspension from the team and a deduction of a portion of
the tuition privilege. A 5th unexcused absences shall mean the erring player’s
disqualification from the team and the withdrawal of all privileges.
- Unexcused tardiness after (5) times, shall mean suspension.
2.1 unexcused late coming for practices shall mean reason for suspending an erring player.
