Latest, August 24, 2020: USC Learning in the Virtual Environment (LiVE) Primer for the 1st semester AY 2020-21 is now available.


August 7, 2020: Advisories for the start of classes for the Basic Education division and online admission and enrollment process for graduate students.


August 2, 2020: An integrated enrollment guide is available for continuing students; please use your USC email account when you are prompted to sign in. Enrollment schedule for the 1st semester AY2020-21 has been published. Payment centers are also summarized in an infographic.

June 23, 2020: The University is offering students Internet connectivity support to facilitate their participation and completion of online classes. Click the links to download the guidelines for Internet connectivity support and the application form.

June 10, 2020. The Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs issued an advisory today for continuing students, especially those who belong to the previous curricula before the educational transition. Blended (online) lecture courses will be offered; please refer to the schedule of enrollment for the summer term. The Offices of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Finance have also issued a joint advisory for continuing students on financial matters, including possible assistance to enhance internet connectivity of students.

Update: May 19, 2020. The Offices of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and VP for Finance issued a joint advisory for tertiary students on the suspension of on-site classes (including unfinished laboratory classes) and the “adjustment of school fees representing the cost of unused facilities and services.” Download the complete advisory here.

Update: April 19, 2020. A more detailed advisory on the end of semester, grading system, thesis and dissertations, graduation ceremonies, Summer term 2020 offerings for graduating students from the old curricula, as well as counseling and mental health support has been released by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs. Update: April 14, 2020. The Offices of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Administration has issued a joint advisory on the presumptive resumption of classes subject to future declarations by local governments. Download the advisory here.



Update: March 23, 2020. No work for USC administrative personnel beginning tomorrow, March 24, 2020. Download the updated memorandum here. Cebu City has extended enhanced community quarantine until April 28.


March 13, 2020. Cebu City Mayor Edgardo C. Labella has ordered the suspension of classes since March 16, 2020 and extended the period to April 14, 2020 by issuing Executive Order no. 52. series of 2020. The Offices of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Vice President for Administration has issued an updated memorandum detailing actions and directives for the USC Community. Earlier, on March 12, 2020, President Rodrigo R. Duterte held a press conference announcing government measures designed to slow down the spread of COVID-19 through Proclamation No. 922 s. 2020. Mandaue City Mayor Jonas C. Cortes through E.O. no. 63, s. 2020 has suspended classes in all schools in the neighboring city beginning March 13th until further notice, while Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Junard Chan suspended classes from March 14th to the 28th. Cebu Provincial Governor Gwendolyn F. Garcia also issued E.O. no. 5-G on March 14, 2020 in consonance with national and local efforts to slow down the spread of the virus.
