CE ’98 returns to USC after 20 years

Twenty years after leaving the portals of the University of San Carlos, the Civil Engineering Class of 1998 paid homage to its alma mater last August 11, 2018.

The homecoming started with a Eucharistic celebration at 2 p.m. officiated by Fr. John Cruz, S.V.D. The mass was followed by a campus tour which included visits to the Learning Resource Center, the stadium, and the Department of Civil Engineering office and its facilities. The activity culminated with dinner together with former faculty members Engr. Roy Basar and Engr. Ruperto Faelnar Jr., and staff Romeo Prieto at Buffet 101 in Mandaue City.

The gathering, organized by Engr. Janice B. Jamora and Odessa V. Pegarom, serves as a precursor for the group’s silver anniversary in 2023.
