USC co-hosts 30th FEIAP General Assembly, 6th Int’l confab

The University of San Carlos in partnership with the Philippine Technological Council (PTC) will host the 30th General Assembly and 6th International Convention of the Federation of Engineering Institutions of Asia and the Pacific (FEIAP) on July 27-29, 2022 at the Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City, Philippines.

The FEIAP General Assembly is an annual event that serves as a venue for knowledge sharing among professional engineers. The discussion involves technological advances and issues relevant to the practice and advancement of the engineering professions in and around Asia and the Pacific Regions.

The knowledge exchanges are done in mutually beneficial ways and in support of the member countries’ sustainable socio-economic development objectives. Locally, it is expected that our engineering professionals gain insights that will enable them to level up to international benchmarks.

Bearing this year’s theme, “Engineering Education, Accreditation and Mobility Geared Towards Industry 5.0”, PTC has invited experts from international and local speakers who will talk about topics on engineering education, engineering accreditation, engineering mobility, environmental engineering, and circular economy.

About 300 local and international participants from some 35 countries are expected to join the face-to-face general assembly and international convention. Interested participants are encouraged to register in advance through this link: https://app.xperto.ph/event/2022feiapconvention
