The University of San Carlos was included among the top performing schools in the February 2023 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on February 26-27, 2023. 

Out of 50 examinees, 41 graduates of the USC Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering passed the nationwide board examination. This gives USC an 82% passing percentage well above the national passing rate of 62.17%. 

A total of 3,774 out of 6,070 examinees hurdled the licensure exam.
