Personal Background

Attorney Largo is the Vice President for Administration of the University of San Carlos beginning August 2023 after serving as Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs from January 2021 to July 2023. She is the first lady Vice President of the University of San Carlos. She is a resident partner of the Cebu office of the law firm Romulo Mabanta Buenaventura Sayoc & De Los Angeles, and is also a law professor of the USC School of Law where she teaches Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, Political Law Review, Torts and Damages, Alternative Dispute Resolution, Appellate Law Practice, and Trial Technique.

She previously was the long-serving Dean of the USC School of Law and Governance from 2013 to 2021, during which the School was consistently cited by the Philippine Legal Education Board as among the top performing law schools in the country and as a pioneer in the outcomes-based approach to legal education.

She completed her Bachelor of Arts major in Political Science from the University, graduating magna cum laude and Class Valedictorian, after which she finished also at USC her Bachelor of Laws degree under an R. H. Goipeng Foundation scholarship, earning cum laude and Class Valedictorian honors. Largo then proceeded to obtain her Master of Laws degree, cum laude, from the San Beda College Graduate School of Law, publishing her first law book, Laws and Jurisprudence on Torts and Damages. Writing about outcomes-based education, she also co-authored with William Spady another book, Beyond Outcomes Accreditation.
